Perpetual contracts are contract products settled in digital assets. Investors can profit from rising or falling digital asset prices by buying long or selling short. Perpetual contracts have no expiration date.
Forward perpetual contracts, also known as USDT perpetual contracts, are linear perpetual contracts denominated in USDT. Traders can use USDT as margin to place long or short orders, with no expiration date restrictions.
1. Buy (Long)
Using the BTCUSDT perpetual contract as an example: Click [Trade] in the top left corner of the official website to enter the trading page; select [BTCUSDT - PERP].
Select [Leverage], [Limit Price]/[Market Price]/[Plan Order]—Enter [Price] and [Quantity]—Click [Long]—[Confirm].
2. Sell (Short)
Using the BTCUSDT perpetual contract as an example: Click [Trade] in the top left corner of the official website to enter the trading page; select [BTCUSDT - PERP]. Select [Leverage], [Limit Price]/[Market Price]/[Plan Order] - enter [Price] and [Quantity] - click [Sell] - [Confirm].
