XCoin continuously evaluates its existing products and services to ensure a high-quality trading experience for all users. Following a recent review, XCoin Futures will implement the following adjustments to funding rate parameters for select USDT-margined perpetual contracts.
1. Settlement Frequency Adjustment
The funding rate caps for the following USDT-margined perpetual contracts will remain unchanged. Their settlement frequency will be adjusted from once every 8 hours to once every 4 hours:

Effective time : 16:00 on June 2, 2026 (UTC+8).

2. Funding Rate Cap Adjustment
The settlement frequency for the following USDT-margined perpetual contracts will remain unchanged at once every 8 hours. The funding rate caps will be adjusted from ±2% to the corresponding updated values:

Every 8 hours: 08:00, 16:00, 00:00 the following day (UTC+8)
Every 4 hours: 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00, 00:00 the following day (UTC+8)
About Funding Rates
The funding rate mechanism is designed to help perpetual contract prices converge with the spot market price of the underlying asset. Funding fees are exchanged between long and short position holders; XCoin only facilitates the settlement between the two parties.
- When the funding rate is positive, long position holders pay funding fees to short position holders; when negative, the reverse applies.
- Funding fees are calculated based on the notional value of the position and the current funding rate.
- Funding rates fluctuate with market conditions and may reach their caps during periods of extreme volatility.
Users are advised to closely monitor their contract positions and margin balances to manage risk accordingly.

- The country or region where users reside will affect their ability to trade the above new pairs. Please note that the list of restricted countries may be updated due to mandatory changes in applicable laws and regulations, or due to other changes related to these trading pairs. Users must complete account verification to participate in trading these new pairs.
