How to Convert Shares to UMX RWA Stock Tokens (Stock-to-Token)

UMX has launched the Stock-to-Token feature, available 7×24 hours. Users who hold actual U.S. shares in their UMX Securities account can convert those shares into the corresponding stock tokens with a single tap. The converted tokens can be traded directly on the platform and included in the unified account system as margin, improving capital efficiency.
 

What Is Stock-to-Token?

Stock-to-Token refers to converting the actual U.S. shares held in your UMX Securities account into the equivalent number of corresponding stock tokens (e.g., converting NVDA into NVDA1).
After conversion, your share position becomes token form. These tokens can be used to:
  • Spot trading of UMX stock tokens, available 5×24 hours
  • Be included in the platform's unified account system to provide margin for Futures trading or leveraged spot purchases
  • Be converted back to actual shares at any time via the Token-to-Stock feature

How to Perform a Stock-to-Token Conversion

  1. Log in to your UMX account and go to the Assets page.
  2. Select the stock you intend to convert and the corresponding quantity, click the Tokenlize function, and submit your conversion request.

Important Notes

  1. The Stock-to-Token feature is only available to users who have completed account verification (KYC) and hold the corresponding shares in their Securities account.
  2. During certain corporate action processing periods, the Stock-to-Token feature may be temporarily suspended.
  3. There are currently no conversion fees for Stock-to-Token. Other fees are subject to the final terms of each product.

Terms and Conditions

Stock tokens are tokenized securities representing synthetic economic exposure to the underlying shares. They do not represent direct ownership of the relevant stock, and holders do not have voting rights. Conversion operations are subject to the platform's Terms of Service and the issuer's relevant RWA Terms of Service. A user's country or region of residence may affect their access to this feature. Users must complete account verification and satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements of the platform before using this feature.
